Boiled linseed oil is heated using special technology without adding any chemical components. Uniquness of the product is that it is perfectly absorbed in the wood (to a depth of 2 mm) and protects the treated surface against weathering. Boiled linseed oil does not peel and its impact on the wood can be compared with the well-known principle of Gore-tex, - coating allows the wood to "breathe" at the same time repelling water.

It is advisable that boiled linseed oil is applied on the surface rubbing into the wood rather than performing traditional painting activity. That is why treating the wood with boiled linseed oil is commonly known as soaking rather than painting. Boiled linseed oil is applied in 2-3 thin layers, allowing each layer to dry for 24 hours. Surface is treated using flat brush or cloth. It is important that surface treated by boiled linseed is not located in the direct sunlight as then oil will dry too quickly and loose its water repelling qualities.
